All joking aside, it’s true, isn’t it?  Choral expenses can include uniforms, a place to practice, competition fees, and even voice coaches…this stuff can add up!  The good news is that the nature of the organization makes it easy to have fundraisers that are quite a bit different, and actually enjoyable!

Your Choir Fundraising Strategy:

First, look at all expenses you’ll need to take care of, and set a goal.

Then, it’s time to choose (the fun part)!

Recommended:  Chose 1 Brochure/Card fundraiser, and 1+ Service-Based fundraiser

Try this:  Hold a Singing Telegram Fundraiser.  For a week before the event, let customers sign their friends or significant others up to be on the receiving end of a fun singing telegram.  You can provide a song list, take requests, or have songs for the customers to choose from.  “Sell” each telegram for $2-$3.  On the day of, choir members get to show-off their voices while earning money for the group!  (And possibly, while embarrassing the recipient- much to the delight of other viewers )  This kind of fundraiser is bound to be a hit, especially around Valentine’s Day or Christmas.  Consider giving it a try!

Then, try selling with Little Caesars Pizza Kits to really bring in the cash.  Little Caesars is a fundraiser you won’t want to give up!  The products are so popular with customers, many groups find themselves going back to LC’s pizza year after year.  Try to establish a name for yourself in the community- “we’re the group that sells with Little Caesars.”  Then, when it’s time for your yearly sale, people will be running to your sale to stock up on the delicious pizza!  Something handy about this program:  your group earns a nice $5 for each item sold, making it super-easy to calculate profits, and to earn big ones!

So, if you have a part in fundraising for a youth football team- the job could be easier than you’ve ever hoped.  All you have to do is: 1) redirect the team’s energy to fundraising and 2) choose a program that will maximize sales.

Customers get a lot of cookies for their dough!  For $16, they’ll get four individual packages of 15 chunks of dough- 60 cookies in all- of their chosen variety.  And the size of the packs is handy, too.  One package (15 cookies) would be a great dessert for a family, while opening three or four would make for a perfect reward for a group of kids- maybe in a classroom or on a team.
